Er is tijdens de studie aan diverse projecten gewerkt van verschillende schaalgrootte. Elk project had een eigen programma van eisen en criteriapunten. Er is altijd maximaal gestreefd om aan de specifieke eisen te voldoen om tot een weloverwogen eindwerk te komen.

THE GLOBAL VILLAGE
THE GLOBAL VILLAGE
The Global Village is one of the high-dense complexes on the island of future Rozenburg, where people live, work and leisure. It is located on the very end of the promontory of the island. It is a landmark, that introduces the metropolitan city of Rotterdam. This mixed-used building typology promote interaction, physical contact and social awareness between its inhabitants.

As an ancient piece of architecture which is leftover at the very end of a promontory. It stands there, serious and calm, surrounded only by water which gives this monument the dignity it deserves. It has a sharp rectangular shape made from concrete. A small path welcomes the visitor to enter this tower which will show him/her 'The End Of The World'.

The aim of the studio was to design a low-budget house for a retired couple with their daughter who is single and has a baby and full-time job. The house has voids and open spaces to make visual as wel as physical connections possible. The materialization and construction of the house is made in a modular way to make the house durable and cheap to build, while maintaining the quality.

The second part of the studio is about designing a villa for retired couple that has big budget and a busy social life. Villa U has an open, filigree structure to have completely open facade. This way, the relation with the outside nature is maximum.
